Terms & conditions

Last updated 13 September 2026

These terms apply when you use this website and when you engage Lumework to build or run a lead acquisition system. If we sign a separate written agreement with you, that agreement takes precedence wherever the two conflict.

1. The free audit

The audit is genuinely free and carries no obligation. It is our professional opinion based on publicly available information about your business at the time we look at it. It is not a guarantee of any particular result, and it is not legal, tax or financial advice.

2. What we provide

Scope, deliverables, fees and timelines are set out in a written proposal before any work starts. Nothing on this website is an offer capable of acceptance, and prices shown in any example are illustrative.

3. Fees and payment

Setup fees are payable before work begins unless agreed otherwise. Management fees are billed monthly in advance. Invoices are due on receipt. We may pause work on overdue accounts after giving you notice.

4. Advertising spend

You pay Google and any other advertising platform directly. Advertising spend never passes through Lumework. You control the budget and can change or stop it at any time. We are not responsible for platform pricing changes, account suspensions or policy decisions made by Google or any other platform.

5. Ownership

On full payment, you own the website we build for you, its content, your domain, your Google Ads account and your Google Business Profile. These stay in your name throughout. We keep ownership of our own underlying tools, templates, processes and know-how, and we may reuse them for other clients.

6. The lead guarantee

Where we offer a lead volume guarantee, it applies only if you maintain the monthly advertising budget agreed in writing, respond to leads within the agreed timeframe, and hold any verification the channel requires, including Google Verified where applicable. The remedy is that management fees pause until the agreed volume is delivered. It is not a refund of advertising spend and it is not a revenue guarantee.

7. Your responsibilities

8. Third party platforms

Parts of the service depend on Google, Meta, email providers, telephony providers and other third parties. Their availability, policies, verification decisions and pricing are outside our control. We will always tell you promptly when a third party change affects your results.

9. Results and benchmarks

Any cost per lead, close rate, job value or return figure shown on this site is either a published industry benchmark or a clearly labelled example, not a promise of what your business will achieve. Meeting counts in any calculator are inputs, not forecasts. Results vary by market, competition, season, pricing, capacity and how fast you follow up.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the services is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost revenue or lost business opportunity. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Confidentiality

Each of us will keep the other's non-public business information confidential and use it only to deliver or receive the services.

12. Termination

Either of us may end a monthly engagement with 30 days written notice. Fees already invoiced remain payable. On termination we will hand over access to the assets you own within 14 days.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The version published here at the time you engage us is the version that applies to that engagement.
