Privacy policy
Last updated 13 September 2026
This policy explains what personal information Lumework collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how you can have it removed. We have written it in plain language on purpose.
Who we are
Lumework builds and runs lead generation systems for US home service companies and B2B service companies. For questions about this policy or about your data, contact pieter@trylumework.com or write to Lumework, 18484 Preston Rd, Ste 102 #661, Dallas, TX 75252.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you request a free audit we collect your name, company name, email address, website address, who you sell to, your industry and location, and your answers about how you win customers today (for example current lead sources, approximate ad spend, typical client value and capacity). If you contact us by WhatsApp or email we hold that conversation.
Information we process for B2B clients
When we run lead generation for a B2B client, we process business contact details of prospective buyers — name, job title, company and business contact information — on that client's behalf, drawn from business sources. We use it only to contact those people about that client's services. Anyone we contact can opt out or ask to have their details deleted at any time, and we honour it promptly.
Information collected automatically
If you accept cookies we collect standard analytics data: pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, referring site, device and browser type. We do not use this to identify you personally.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we do not collect special categories of personal data.
Why we use it
- To prepare and send the free audit you asked for
- To reply to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to deliver the work
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the site
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations
We rely on your consent for marketing communications and analytics cookies, and on legitimate interest or contract for replying to enquiries and delivering services.
What we never do
- We do not sell your personal information. Not to anyone, at any price.
- We do not share your data with other businesses we work with, including your competitors.
- We do not add you to unrelated marketing lists.
Who we share it with
Only service providers that help us operate, and only to the extent they need it: Vercel (website hosting), FormSubmit (delivers audit requests to our inbox), Google Workspace (email), Calendly (if you book a call), WhatsApp (if you message us there), and, only if you accept cookies, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes. If we are ever legally required to disclose information, we will do so only to the extent required.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep the site working and cannot be switched off. Analytics cookies only load if you press Accept on the cookie banner. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site, which will make the banner appear again.
How long we keep it
Enquiry data is kept for 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted. Client records are kept for 7 years after the engagement ends, because tax and accounting rules require it. Analytics data is retained for 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask us to delete your personal information at any time, and we will. You can also ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to stop using it for marketing, or object to processing.
Email pieter@trylumework.com and we will respond within 30 days. We will not charge you and we will not ask you to justify the request.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiry data is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your information.
International transfers
Our team and some of our service providers are located outside the United States. Where your data is transferred internationally we rely on appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where required.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
